World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day
We would like to say a big thank you to all those that attended, exhibited and gave speaches at the seminars for World Mental Health Day 2008 at Cawston Park. The event was a great success; even the sun joined us for the day! If you wish to receive information on this year's event, or to be informed about next year's World Mental Health Day event and future seminars, click on the ‘Register for this event' to receive any updates.
World Mental Health Day is officially commemorated on the 10th October every year. The annual event began in 1992 and was started by the World Federation for Mental Health by the then Deputy Secretary General Richard Hunter. The day is a chance to communicate the issues of mental health, raise awareness and reduce stigma.
