Dr Kay Oluwumni
Clinical Services Director
As a member of Senior Management, Dr Kay provides leadership for the Medical team and oversees the Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and Substance Misuse service through the management of the Head of Psychosocial Department. In addition Dr Kay is the lead for Clinical Governance within Cawston Park.
Dr Nadir Omara
Consultant Psychiatrist
Working with the Clinical Services Director, Dr Omara liaises with external and internal referral agencies, carrying out pre-admission assessments to ensure that the services are able to meet the needs of those being admitted, as well as providing general Psychiatric Services and treatment to our existing patients. Dr Omara is a Specialist Consultant in Substance Misuse.
Mark Grainger
Senior Nurse Manager
As Senior Nurse Manager, Mark is responsible for the day to day management of the Nursing staff throughout Cawston Park. The Unit Manager, Nursing Development Manager and the Physical Health Nurse all support Mark within his role.
George Mak-Pearce
Head of Psychosocial Department
George has developed the Psychosocial Department which now includes Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology and Psychosocial Therapy. A number of new patients' groups have been initiated by this department to increase skill levels and self management.
Alison Simpkin
Social Work Manager
Alison joined the company in 2007. Alison undertakes individual casework and participates in multi-disciplinary care planning and risk assessment. Alison in collaboration with others has developed and leads on patient involvement initiatives, life skills and promoting recovery and independence.
Kayte Russell
Occupational Therapy Manager
Kayte manages the Occupational Therapy department which provides group and individual assessment and therapeutic interventions. Kayte has a Senior Occupational Therapist and 2 OT Support workers to assist in the delivery of the service.
Julie Chambers
Senior Charge Nurse, The Lodge
Julie takes the clinical lead in managing the low secure services and encouraging the development of staff. Ensuring staff are equipped with the necessary skills to facilitate and support patients to progress toward the open services ergo recovery and discharge through a safe and effective passage of care.
Julie is also the lead Management of Violence and Aggression instructor and delivers this training to all staff across site in conjunction with the training department.
Laura Hudson
Senior Charge Nurse, The Grange
Laura runs the Grange low secure unit holding day to day responsibility for the management of the staff and taking a clinical lead on the unit, liaising with the rest of the nursing department and allied departments, to ensure the smooth running of the unit. In turn providing high quality care within a demanding environment, and ensuring smooth transition through the recovery process.
Phil Wakley
Senior Charge Nurse, The Manor
Taking the lead in managing the clinical services provided by his unit, Phil along with his other management responsibilities, works closely with his fellow Senior Nurses and the rest of the Cawston Park Team to ensure continuity of care throughout our patients' stay. An important part of this role is the support and development of staff so they are well equipped to contribute towards a safe and effective therapeutic environment where patients can progress toward recovery and discharge.
